Exchange Rate: How It Works

Qurban Story quotes prices in EUR, USD, and JPY. You never need to convert to IDR yourself. Your price is locked in your chosen foreign currency when you place your order.

At checkout, we display an IDR equivalent for reference — this uses the ECB (European Central Bank) rate, updated hourly. This IDR figure is informational only and does not affect your payment amount. You simply transfer the EUR/USD/JPY amount shown in your order.

The exchange rate from your foreign currency to IDR is handled by your bank at the time of the SWIFT transfer. Since you're paying in EUR/USD/JPY, you bear zero IDR exchange rate risk from the moment you order.

Transfer Reference: Use the Pequrban's Name

Our payment instructions ask you to write the name of the person this qurban is for — the pequrban — in the transfer reference (Berita Transfer). Here's why this matters:

• It lets our team know whose qurban to record and which animal to assign
• If you are doing qurban for a parent, spouse, or the whole family, each name can be noted
• It helps during documentation — animal photos and slaughter reports are matched to the pequrban

The reference field is optional — your order can still be matched by amount and timing — but providing the pequrban's name speeds up verification significantly.

SWIFT transfers can occasionally take longer than expected, especially on weekends or public holidays. We can manually verify and confirm your order while waiting for the funds to clear.
